	Our inspection procedures are in accordance with MIL-I-45208. All measuring tools are checked and calibrated periodically as required. Calibration is in accordance with MIL-I-45662. A 100% first article inspection is mandatory on all first run orders. We have control of our manufacturing processes. We have incorporated extensive in-process quality procedures in order to insure high quality. Parts are checked and rechecked in order to maintain a 100% quality / defect free lot. Quality awareness among our employees has made the difference.

Quality Management SMI is committed to excellence in the design and production of our customer's products. Quality issues are addressed 'up front' via consultation with the customer. This process continues through manufacturing to delivery of the finished product. Quality Assurance All SMI Departments use in-process controls, calibrated equipment and testing capabilities to ensure consistent delivery of precision products to your dock every time. Our operators record real-time Statistical Process Control (SPC) measurements as the parts are being manufactured and assembled.
